When my mama first adopted me, she would go to work all day and I would just sit and look out the window, longing for a daybreak or at least a quick run outside in the fresh air. Time passed so slowly! I know my mama worried too... She didn't know if I was happy or sad or bored or maybe getting into trouble being alone all day. Now that I am in Good Company, she doesn't worry anymore.
I attend Adventure Sessions several times a week now. I get to go out for a daybreak and get lots of fresh air. I love it! I get to run and play with the other dogs. I made 10 new friends! And there is always an adventure!
I feel I am much happier and healthier. I sharpened my social skills and can play safely with all dogs. I learned how to listen and behave and my potty training went much quicker too.
When I get home, I am pooped. Now I even sleep better and am not so anxious when my mama gets home from work. I know she feels better too knowing I am in Good Company and learning and seeing new things in every session. If it wasn't for Good Company, I don't know what I would do all week. I would surely miss all my friends terribly! Thank you for being there and showing me the world!

"April brought her own dog along to the orientation, and that helped to make Guinness more comfortable. April also asked very good questions about Guinness's behavior to help her in the walking sessions.
"Once the sessions began, April was wonderful in keeping in touch with me to let me know how Guinness was doing. She not only provided Guinness with the exercise he needed, but gave a great deal more in training tips. Despite Guinness being an incredible bundle of energy, April was always patient and never ceased to come up with new ideas in solving certain dilemmas.
"April has an enormous love for animals. This is apparent immediately upon meeting her. Beyond the care she gives the animals of Good Company, I know she also volunteers for the Animal Welfare League.
"Guinness has a new home now, but Good Company touched my family and I, as well as Guinness, in a very special way. Before I took Guinness to his new home in Vermont, we received a postcard from Good Company with a picture of Guinness on the front, playing with all of his dog friends. It brought tears to all our eyes. Then, when I couldn't find a cab that would take Guinness with his travel crate to the airport, April helped us out there too, even though it was four o'clock in the morning!
"If you're looking for someone who will combine professional service with sincere caring, believe me, your pets really will be in good company with Good Company!"
